What your AI workflows use
AI works on evidence your workspace can identify. Your team chooses the sources, records, and commercial context that give the work its meaning.
Configured market sources
Public news, specialist publications, company material, and other sources your team selects for tracked competitors.
Commercial records
Mapped HubSpot deals, controlled CSV imports, and structured Win-Loss survey responses your team provides.
Workspace context
Existing battlecards, messaging, personas, launches, and internal documents that help your team understand each signal.
Where AI helps your team
Segment8 uses AI for reading, sorting, and drafting. It gives your team a faster starting point while keeping the decision with the people who know the business.
Classify collected signals
AI helps assign event types, competitors, and short summaries so your team can filter a large evidence set. Classification supports review. It does not prove that an event matters commercially.
Add competitive context
Enrichment workflows can gather more material and draft structured competitor information. Your team receives proposed or generated content that can be checked against its sources.
Draft reports and briefings
Configured agents can analyse deal records, market signals, or selected competitors and produce briefs, recaps, and recommendations. Your team can schedule delivery to configured channels.
Suggest battlecard changes
Battlecard review and enrichment agents can suggest changes to structured fields. Your team sees the current and proposed values side by side before approving a change.
Controls and review
Good automation should make work easier without making decisions harder to explain. Sources, workspace boundaries, and approval decisions remain part of the workflow.
Source visibility
Collected signals keep their source links and context. Your reviewers can inspect the evidence instead of treating a generated summary as the source.
Workspace scope
AI workflows use only the workspace, competitors, records, and delivery destinations in their configuration. Your workspace access controls still apply.
Approval before changes
Agent-proposed battlecard changes do not alter the live card until someone on your team approves them. The approval history records the decision.
Configured delivery
Briefs and recaps may be delivered automatically when your team schedules that workflow. This does not automatically publish changes to a governed asset.
What AI does not do
Generated output supports a decision. It does not verify itself, prove causation, or replace the person accountable for what your revenue team uses.
AI output can be incomplete or wrong. A confident summary is not verification, so your team should check important findings.
Segment8 does not record or transcribe sales calls.
Native Salesforce synchronisation is not currently available. Salesforce exports can be imported through CSV.
A detected pattern does not prove causation. Your team decides what a deal trend means and what should change.
AI does not choose your company’s positioning or approve the guidance sellers receive.
Customer data
We use customer data to provide the requested feature. We do not use it to train shared models.
When a product feature requires inference, approved AI subprocessors may process customer content. Contracts restrict those providers from using customer content to train their own models. We do not use workspace content to create cross-customer competitive benchmarks.
The legal documents are the authoritative source for data handling, retention, and subprocessors. If you are reviewing Segment8 for your organisation, see the privacy policy, subprocessor list, and data processing agreement for the commitments that apply.
