My journey through product marketing started with a familiar struggle. As the solo PMM at a high-growth startup, I was using some of the best tools available, but none of them actually fit how I thought about my work as a product marketer.
I had my messaging living in Google Docs, my competitive intel scattered across Notion pages, my launch plans built in project management tools designed for engineers, and my personas trapped in slide decks. Nothing connected, and nothing reflected the mental model that product marketers actually use.
